The funniest thing happened…

The funniest thing happened on the street today. I was coming back from the Memorial library and walking towards 16th street, when some guy stopped me. I figured he was asking for money, and had my response ready, but he asked me if I had a computer system. Well, I told him yes, that I did, and he proceeded to try and sell me an AOL trial CD! I have to admit, this takes the award for people trying to get money out of students. Did he not know that these CDs are freely available? Was he aware that people get these in the mail once a month or more? I just told him that I had so many, I didn’t know what to do with an extra one, and I think it put a bit of a damper on his business operation, but hey, someone’s got to tell him, right?
