New Job

Well, it’s official – I will be leaving my current job in a week to become a youth minister for the Archdiocese of Kansas City, Kansas. I have accepted a position with Holy Trinity Parish in Paola and am really excited about starting.

This is definitely something that I have been wanting to do for quite a while now, and I am finally getting the opportunity. More details to come soon.

Sorry I have not updated this website recently, but I have been busy tying down other things so that I could have a good interview for the job in Paola. I’m hoping to have more time to update now!

Audio blogging activated

Yes, you read the headline of the story correctly. My blog now has audio capability. What does this mean to you? It means that while I’m on the road over the next few weekends, I can actually use my cell phone to call into my website and record an audio blog. The website, in turn will take that call and turn it into an MP3 for your listening pleasure. If you want, you may even want to put it on your iPod and listen to it over and over again, although that would be somewhat odd.

100th Story!

Yes, we have reached a milestone. You are reading the 100th story that has been posted on the site. Well, actually, it isn’t technically the 100th story, but due to stories being deleted, and different story numbers, I’m counting this as the official 100th story. It’s been a nice few months, and I hope to continue this site well into the future. Perhaps, someday, I’ll reach my 1,000th story. Then, we will have a real thing to celebrate!
