Problems I Have with Fox News

So, as I was driving home, I was listening to Fox News and realized a bit why I don’t like the channel. Check out this post, by Seth Godin about “Polite Fiction.” I think that Fox News suffers from this same problem, however, they use the polite fiction to the extreme. For example, as they broke for commercial, the announcer mentioned that they are “the most powerful name in news.” I think that’s taking it overboard in the polite fiction department. “Reality” TV

So, for all of you who wanted to know if “reality” TV is really real… It appears that parents of the kids who were filmed for MTV’s Laguna Beach are pretty unhappy with the network. What’s worse is that some of the viewers of the show really do allow it to influence their behavior. There are fans of the show who now travel out to Laguna Beach to try and see glimpses of the kids as they are getting into arguments and fighting.
