40 Days for Life

It may be a little late for this posting as the March for Life happened back in January. I would like to call attention to all that has been happening in the news with regard to people’s attitudes about abortion and the effect it has had on our society. This year’s march had over 400,000 demonstrating in the capital. It seems clear to me that many people have realized that the original decision to legalize abortion was wrong and it needs to change. Rebecca and I had the opportunity to participate in this year’s march. The picture attached to this post is one we took in front...

Dennis Moore and FOCA

Recently, I wrote to my representatives in Washington, D.C. to oppose the Freedom of Choice Act, a bill that, while not introduced yet, has some serious ramifications behind it. In response to my letter, I received the form letter, listed below, from Dennis Moore, my house representative. What is interesting about the letter is the language and the tone. 12 Year Old Defense of Life

I just saw this video today. In Toronto, Lia, a 12 year old girl gave a speech challenging the ideas of abortion. Volition the movie

I’m really impressed with the quality of the film and the way it was cut together. Here’s the synopsis: The act of making a choice. Sometimes the choice of inaction has consequences stronger than we could ever imagine. Throughout history, men have been faced with difficult choices in a world that makes it easy for them to conform. This film explores the hope that lies behind every decision made in the face of...

Plan B (It’s really an abortifacient)

Posted by on Sep 10, 2006 in Nick Notes | 0 comments

You know, I’m really offended by American society and the false marketing being forced down my throat. I’ve had it with everyone telling me that I can’t control myself, so I might as well use “protection.” Not only that, but I guess society really thinks that women can’t help but get pregnant and sleep around with people, so they should now protect themselves by using Plan B. I just picked up Saturday’s copy of The Kansas City Star. In the FYI section, there’s an article called “Plan B is a Dose of Common Sense.” In it, the author...
